Clayton Services is searching for a Senior Accountant to join a thriving company in Willis, Texas.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $95,000-100,000/year

Senior Accountant Responsibilities:

• Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
• Oversee the preparation of business activity reports
• Collaborate with accounts payable when coding invoices
• Review and assist other departments with reports
• Review weekly accounts receivable deposits
• Collect and organize reports to provide to the external CPA
• Prorate monthly expenses to other departments
• Review the general leader for discrepancies
• Oversee company financial records
• Oversee financial reports
• Tax planning
• Audit accounts to ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Other duties as assigned

• Computer proficiency
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
• Knowledgeable about financial reports (profit and loss statements and balance sheets)

Senior Accountant Education and Experience:

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting is required
• A minimum of five years of relevant accounting experience is required
• Previous experience working with QuickBooks is preferred
• A minimum of five years of job costing and construction accounting experience is preferred
