Position: Assistant Controller
Location: On-site in Washington, D.C. (parking provided next door)
Salary: $80,000–$95,000 base
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM (no weekends)

What You’ll Do
Handle daily AR updates and manual journal entries
Reconcile accounts and record AP electronically
Prepare daily F&B revenue reports and assist with month-end reporting
Support in budget preparation and external audits
Walk deposits to a local bank (PNC) – roughly 40% of members pay via check
Collaborate directly with the CFO and small accounting team (3 total)
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
Experience with AP, AR, general ledger, and reconciliations
Strong knowledge of debits/credits and accounting fundamentals
Background in hospitality, clubs, or F&B accounting is a big plus
Familiarity with Jonas (or similar accounting software) helpful
Organized, patient, and excellent at multitasking
Professional communication skills—written and verbal
