The Collection is a free venue finding agency within Searcys based in Central London. We have a family of incredible venue partners and event spaces not only in London but the rest of the UK. Our primary purpose is to increase event bookings within our group venues and to develop client accounts within the group, however we can recommend and work with any UK venue with ambitions to work with locations across Europe. We take pride in having a high level of knowledge in the industry, and the personable and bespoke service we offer continues to gain the trust of clients to deliver the right solutions for each and every event.


About this role


The Senior Account Manager role plays a pivotal part in the success of The Collection. As a key team member, you will be working with our clients ensuring we maximise their experience and create exemplary relationships. You will play a part in the development of The Collection to ensure the business develops in line with the pace of the market, working on a marketing strategy and managing 2 team members.


The ideal candidate will be a natural leader and forward thinker. You will be customer orientated with a drive to achieve goals and have good knowledge of the London events market including venues and suppliers.


Key Responsibilities:


ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT:

-       Create and deliver an account management plan ensuring all clients are continually updated, contacted and engaged with to drive and grow sales including proactive face-to-face meetings

-       Create meaningful relationships with wider WSH colleagues and the full venue portfolio to leverage all opportunities

-       Be an ambassador for the brand by attending and managing networking and client events and maintaining a high level of industry knowledge and trends


SALES  

-       Deliver personal sales target annually and support the team to deliver overall annual sales targets

-       Upselling at all times to ensure all revenue opportunities are optimised

-       Support and develop group pitches to win new business and retain existing clients

-       Conduct site visits, client FAM trips and meetings to ensure a personalised service

-       Management of CRM and ensuring all opportunities are accurately recorded


BRAND AND MARKETING

-       Support the development of the annual marketing plan to ensure delivery of business objectives that understands the brand’s personality

-       Supporting web content creation and management of accuracy of website activity and venue uploads

-       Support with the delivery of the digital content plan

-       Support the client event plan to ensure The Collection is seen as the go to agency for expert advice


ABOUT YOU

-       Have a minimum of 2 years sales experience within an agency or similar venue finding business

-       You are an intuitive sales personality and have an excellent understanding of the sales process

-       You are proactive and want to develop your career

-       You maintain a happy and helpful manner and attitude throughout your work. You are polite and courteous and help your colleagues
