Black Press Media is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Accounts Manager to join our event marketing team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, preferably with an events focus, excellent communication skills, and a passion for solution-based sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing business-to-business client base of $1 million in annual revenue.
• Prospect and generate leads through cold calling, email outreach, networking, and other sales techniques.
• Identify potential exhibitors and sponsors and customize sales pitches and proposals based on the specific needs and objectives of each potential client as well as negotiate pricing and contract terms to close deals and achieve sales targets.
• Collaborate with the events team to deploy robust marketing bundles and present industry-leading events.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven track record of success in business-to-business sales, preferably in an event or exhibit focused environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish relationships with clients.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals effectively.
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Docs, Excel, and Apple Products.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.
  
  

This position comes with an excellent remuneration package that includes base, commissions and bonus starting at $70,000, with potential bonus at $25,000 annually. You will also receive competitive group benefits plan. Free parking onsite.
