Summary

This is a hybrid opportunity and this role requires onsite in-office presence approximately 1 to 3 days per week at one of our following office locations: Irvine, CA, Burlingame, CA, Santa Rosa, CA, Portland, OR, Dallas, TX.


We're seeking a Senior Account Manager to manage the day-to-day client service needs of an assigned book of business, often working alongside a Producer or Account Executive. With strong knowledge of coverage and insurance programs, the Senior Account Manager focuses on client communication, system activity, and ensuring data integrity within internal systems. They play a key role in supporting corporate processes and initiatives, while also overseeing third-party vendors involved with the account.


Your Impact:


Client Management:

  • Participating in renewal strategy and managing a book of renewal business. Provide support in drafting exposure gathering information, loss exhibits, submissions, and proposals. Obtain loss run or policy documentation directly from a carrier website as needed.


Day to Day Client Service:

  • Primary point of contact for daily client inquiries and change requests, either directly or via the Producer/Account Executive.
  • Coordinating with Associate Account Managers or third-party vendors to issue certificates, invoices, and perform policy checks, as well as submitting and managing carrier changes.
  • Maintaining accurate system records, processing audits and reports, supporting non-complex contract reviews, and assisting with claims management by guiding clients through loss reporting and providing ongoing claims support.


Client Accounting Responsibilities:

  • Accurately setting up policies in the system of record to ensure all billing information is properly reflected. Requesting invoices for agency bill policies in accordance with corporate guidelines, communicating with the client and Producer regarding aged accounts receivable issues, and initiating fund return requests to clients when appropriate.


Successful Candidates Will Have:

  • Active P&C insurance license and 5+ years of commercial lines client servicing experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment
  • Deep technical knowledge of Property & Casualty business, understanding of agency processes and procedures, and strong understanding of Agency Management systems
  • Knowledge of loss sensitive, alternative risk transfer, & self-insured retentions programs
  • Ability to develop carrier relationships
  • Negotiation skills, exceptional communications skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through issues

At Risk Strategies Company, base pay is one part of our total compensation package, which also includes a comprehensive suite of benefits, including, for eligible employees, medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings. The total compensation for a position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. The expected base pay range for this position is between $64,800.000 - $105,000.00 + bonus. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including geographical location, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
