Job Summary:
A family of companies that is a leader in the book manufacturing and greeting card and gift industries seeks an experienced Account Manager to take over customer account management responsibilities. The successful applicant will focus on maintaining and growing revenue streams from existing customers, while bringing in new business opportunities from customers who are currently not aware of our product offerings or have not worked with us for an extended period of time.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain relationships with existing key customers in both industries, ensuring they are aware of all manufacturing capabilities and product offerings, discussing needs, and providing creative, problem-solving solutions and/or new or customized product offerings that existing customers may not be taking advantage of.
· Identify and develop relationships with new accounts through a combination of sales calls, visits, and targeted marketing materials to bring in new sources of revenue.
· Manage customer expectations, collaborate with customer service and production teams to ensure timely and successful delivery of products and services, and respond quickly and effectively to customer concerns or issues.
· Develop and adhere to schedules and plans for contacting customers, travel, and attendance at trade shows to ensure optimum penetration into key markets and maximization of return on investment.
· With the assistance of senior management, negotiate terms, pricing, timing, and conditions with customers.
· Prepare written proposals and/or deliver oral presentations to key stakeholders.
· Provide accurate and timely reports and key performance indicator metrics, including forecasts, sales results, and industry trends to assist senior management in developing plans and increasing revenue.
· Gain familiarity with the companies’ brands, capabilities, and production methods to better promote our businesses to prospective and existing customers.

· Computer and Social Media Savvy – Familiarity with computers and standard software (including Microsoft Office suite of products) and ability to acclimate to new software; ability, familiarity, and comfortability using current social media platforms.
· Industry Experience – Familiarity with one or both industries in which the companies operate, specifically: book manufacturing, commercial printing, order packaging and fulfillment, and/or greeting card, stationery, or other gift product sales and manufacturing.
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience.
· 3+ years in account management in one or both industries.
· Comfort working under pressure in a fast-paced, but friendly and welcoming, environment
Job Type: Full-time on location or remote hybrid (if remote, there will be an expectation of regular visits to the main office for planning, team-building, and training)
Pay: $60,000 to $100,000 per year base, depending on experience, plus commission
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends for trade shows
