RJR Executive Search has been retained by a national independent insurance and financial service firm to find a talented Senior Account Executive to manage their most prestigious P&C clients. This role is a very visible and important role for the organization.
Reporting directly to the Executive Vice President, the Senior Account Executive will serve as the expert on a book of business and be the main point of contact for major P&C real estate accounts in order to maintain a high level of service and client satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Act as an Account Executive for established real estate accounts
- Work with producer to place large property and casualty insurance programs, including creating submissions, analyzing data and communicating with underwriters
- Manage and coordinate resources and maintain tracking of all deals from initial stages to closing.
- Provide proactive day-to-day client service by anticipating client needs and responding to client questions and issues in a timely manner.
- Assist clients with maintaining property schedules, creating and trouble-shooting premium allocations, responding to third-party (lenders, vendors, etc.) requests, flood mapping, policy renewals and renewal presentations, loss analysis, collateral tracking and negotiation, and data validation
- Review client exposures, loss experience, current coverages, and recommend appropriate products and services on an annual basis.
- Implement and maintain a quality service plan ensuring the accuracy of binders, policies, certificates, and other relevant documents.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and possess strong analytical and organizational skills.
Job Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of work experience
- 10 to 15 years of Property Casualty insurance experience as an Account Manager or Account Executive; preferably with real estate accounts.
- California Property & Casualty producer’s license required
- Experience in a team leadership role preferred
- Exceptional people skills and the ability to lead
- Collaborative decision-making style
- Strong customer orientation; and interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work outside normal work schedule to fulfill responsibilities.
- Agency Management System preferred: Applied Epic
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
