We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and well-connected Senior Account Executive or Director of Sales to oversee and grow our Juniors or Missy apparel business. This individual will be responsible for driving sales, managing key national and regional retail accounts, and executing strategic plans across both core and seasonal assortments.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience in apparel sales, with proven relationships at retailers such as Burlington, Ross, TJ Maxx, Rainbow, Beall’s, Boscov’s, and preferably club stores (e.g., Costco, Sam’s Club) as well.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive revenue growth across the Juniors or Missy category through strong retail partnerships and sell-in strategies.
Manage and grow key accounts, including Burlington, Ross, TJ Maxx, Rainbow, Beall’s, Boscov’s, and potentially club retailers.
Present seasonal lines and programs tailored to each retailer’s needs and price structure.
Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to ensure product lines are aligned with market demands.
Negotiate pricing, delivery, and program terms to meet both retailer and company targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance, react to trends, and develop solutions to improve sell-through.
Identify new business opportunities and open new doors with off-price, department store, or specialty accounts.
Oversee and manage order flow, production calendars, and delivery in coordination with operations and logistics.
Maintain strong communication with buyers and internal cross-functional teams.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in apparel sales, specifically in Juniors or Missy.
Established relationships with key off-price and value retailers: Burlington, Ross, TJ Maxx, Rainbow, Beall’s, Boscov’s.
Club account experience (Costco, Sam’s Club, BJ’s) is a strong plus.
Deep understanding of the off-price and value apparel markets.
Proven ability to drive volume business and respond to fast-moving trends.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivated, and highly goal-oriented.
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP/PLM systems.
Salary $150,000 + Commission
