The Seller Partner Manager Expert is a field-based employee responsible for covering an adequate number of partners in sell engagements to grow SAP's indirect Cloud business across the SAP solution portfolio. The role focuses specifically on enabling and expanding partner capabilities within Data, AI & Cloud Ecosystems.
About the Role:
SAP is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Seller Partner Manager Expert to lead our partner strategy and execution within the rapidly evolving Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Cloud domains. This pivotal role will be responsible for identifying and advancing strategic partnerships with key players in these critical technology areas to drive joint sales growth and expand our market reach. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the SAP landscape, a deep appreciation for the value of partnerships, and a proven track record of building and managing successful Data, AI and Cloud alliances that deliver tangible results.
Responsibilities:
* Partner Strategy:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive partner strategy focused on identifying and engaging leading Data, AI, and Cloud solution providers and system integrators that complement our SAP offerings.
* Conduct thorough due diligence and qualification of potential partners, evaluating their technical capabilities, market presence, and alignment with our strategic objectives.
* Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners, proactively engaging with potential candidates through industry events, networking, and targeted outreach.
* Partner Onboarding and Enablement:
* Assist and collaborate with internal key resources for end-to-end partner onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience.
* Develop and deliver effective partner enablement programs, including training on our solutions, sales methodologies, and joint value propositions.
* Collaborate with SAP internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product, Services) to create compelling joint offerings and go-to-market strategies with new partners.
* Partner Management and Growth:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Data, AI, and Cloud partners, fostering strong, collaborative relationships built on trust and mutual success.
* Develop and execute joint business plans with key partners, establishing clear goals, performance metrics, and revenue targets.
* Regularly monitor partner performance against agreed-upon objectives, identifying opportunities for growth and addressing any challenges.
* Drive joint marketing and sales initiatives with partners, including webinars, events, content creation, and integrated campaigns.
* Facilitate regular communication and collaboration between partner teams and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution.
* Data Analysis and Reporting:
* Track and analyze key partner metrics, providing regular reports on partner performance, pipeline development, and revenue contribution.
* Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in our partner strategy and execution.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of partner agreements, activities, and performance within relevant CRM and partner management systems.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration:
* Work closely with Sales leadership to align partner strategies with overall sales objectives and ensure effective joint selling efforts.
* Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop partner-specific marketing materials and campaigns.
* Engage with Product Management to identify opportunities for joint innovation and integration with partner solutions.
* Partner with the Legal and Finance teams to ensure compliance and effective management of partner agreements and financial arrangements.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Technology, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
* Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in partner management, alliances, business development, or sales within the technology industry, with a significant focus on the SAP ecosystem.
* Demonstrated success in recruiting, onboarding, and managing strategic partnerships, particularly within the Data, AI, and Cloud domains.
* Strong understanding of SAP technologies, solutions, and the broader SAP partner ecosystem.
* Proven ability to develop and execute successful joint go-to-market strategies with partners.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
* Experience with CRM and partner management systems (e.g., CRM, Partner Relationship Management platforms).
* Ability to travel as needed to meet with partners and attend industry events.
* Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Existing network of contacts within the SAP Data, AI, and Cloud partner ecosystem.
* Experience negotiating complex partner agreements.
* Technical understanding of Data, AI, and Cloud technologies and their application within the SAP landscape.

Candidate(s) will be required to work 3 days a week in office/client site as per our Pledge to Flex return to office policy

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP's commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $216,900 - $368,700(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
