Token Security is looking for a Security Research Leader to take our security research team and discipline to the next level. In this role, you’ll tackle complex and evolving security challenges, shaping the future of cloud and machine identity security. You’ll lead a team of skilled security researchers at our Tel Aviv HQ, driving research that influences both our customers and the broader security community.

About the role

• Token Security is a pioneering startup in the Non-Human Identity (NHI) security space.
• Security research has been a core discipline at Token Security from day one, tackling the company’s most complex technological challenges.
• The team specializes in IAM security, focusing on infrastructure, platforms, and applications—both cloud-based and on-premise.
• Our researchers play a key role in customer POCs, helping win high-value deals by uncovering critical security issues and building trust with customers.
• The team also conducts public-facing security research, discovering vulnerabilities in major cloud providers and producing educational content for our customers.
• Our team consists of highly experienced security researchers with backgrounds in both offensive and defensive security, coming from Israel’s cybersecurity community and leading startups.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and Manage a team of highly skilled and motivated security researchers, guiding their work and professional growth.
• Spearhead complex security research, analyzing cutting-edge technologies to uncover security gaps and influence best practices.
• Play a key part in winning POCs for deals in the company by identifying critical security issues in customer infrastructure, providing clarity, and helping win strategic deals.
• Drive a big part of the company’s marketing strategy by conducting groundbreaking researches around topics interesting to our worldwide customer base and the security community in general
• Work with a fast growing R&D organization of experienced and highly talented researchers, product managers and developers

What you bring

• Proven experience in security research, with a strong track record in both offensive and defensive security.
• Leadership experience, managing and mentoring security research teams, leading security research projects
• Hands-on experience with cloud security, Understanding of IAM security, including identity management, authentication protocols, cloud access controls, and non-human identities.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a researcher mindset—curious, analytical, and eager to tackle the unknown.
• Great written and verbal communication skills in English
