We are currently seeking to fill the position of Security Officer within our Sparks Nevada team. The ideal candidate has a bias for action and consistently demonstrates excellence. They will be, trustworthy, professional, adaptable to change, have strong situational awareness and be customer service oriented. Candidates must have a problem-solving mindset and exercise attention to detail in the performance of their duties. This position may include work on nights, weekends, and holidays.

A Shift: 7:45AM - 8:15PM
Week 1: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
B Shift: 7:45AM - 8:15PM
Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Wednesday
C Shift: 7:45PM - 8:15AM (10% pay differential)
Week 1: Sunda, Monday, Tuesday
Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
D Shift: 7:45PM - 8:15AM (15% pay differential)
Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Week 2: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Wednesday
What You'll Do
Provide customer service to executive staff, personnel, guests, and contractorsResponsible for the access control of assigned locationExecutes company procedures to ensure the physical protection of personnel, and property, while meeting required codes and regulations Assists with the operation of security systems: CCTV, access control, and incident reportingMaintains recordkeeping system for security related activities: incidents, events, and drillsResponsible for the emergency response to medical, fire or other emergency incidents onsiteRemains keenly alert at all times, alerting all employees and others to possible threats or situations requiring immediate attention
What You'll Bring
3 + years of experience in a guard or security officer positionProficient with computers including Microsoft Office applicationsExcellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols preferredAbility to communicate clearly and concisely, verbal and written, in English Current First Aid/AED/CPR certificationAbility to walk and/or stand for eight-hour shifts and handle occasional mandatory overtimeValid driver's license required to be able to operate assigned fleet
