Responsibilities

We're looking for Security Officers to join our growing team! You're passionate about patient, visitor and staff safety, have a close eye for detail and love to collaborate with a dynamic team. Whether you're looking to stay with our team long term, or use this role as a stepping stone for a future law enforcement career, you will gain valuable hands-on experience that will meet your long and short term goals.

Qualifications

Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (GED) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• 1 year of law enforcement, security, military or other relevant experience required
  
  

License Requirements

• DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Health System, e.g., no convictions related to driving offenses including DUI or excessive drivers' license suspensions or moving vehicle citations, within the last seven (7) years
• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
• GUARD - State of California Guard Card required
• CPS - OC (Pepper) Spray Endorsement required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
