NXP is seeking a candidate to manage security operations in the Netherlands. For a large manufacturing site in Nijmegen, the head office in Eindhoven and a small R&D site in Delft. He/she will be reporting to the EMEA, Regional Security Manager. The security manager is responsible for day-to-day security operations and protection of NXP’s people, assets, brand and reputation. Assets to include, the management and support of additional NXP operations or facilities.
Qualifications
Preferred Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree.
A minimum of four years experience in industrial security, integrated safety, law enforcement or similar.
Prior experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment is a plus.
Prior experience conducting investigations or managing loss prevention activities is a plus.
Prior experience in a dynamic and changing international organizational environment is a plus.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in the Dutch and English language.
Must also possess and be able to demonstrate the following:

Strong organizational and planning skills.
Possess problem solving and project management fundamentals.
Self-starter with strong work ethic.
Sound knowledge of physical security practices and principles.
Knowledge of risk assessment techniques.
Ability to investigate and manage security incidents.
High standard of ethics combined with ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Experience with financial management, forecasting and planning.
Experience in disaster recovery, contingency planning and/or crisis management.
Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to relate to employees at all levels.
Ability to provide timely, proactive, creative, and practical reports and solutions.
Demonstrated presentation and instructional skills.
Knowledge of access control and closed-circuit monitoring systems.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite software.
Experience supporting ISO27001, ISO 15408/Common Criteria, AEO, C-TPAT is a plus.
Physical Security Professional (PSP) or Certified Protection Professional (CPP) is a plus.
Responsibilities
The Security Manager (SM) is responsible for the implementation of security policies and procedures with an introduction into the organization.
The SM is responsible for the operational performance and results of all locations within NXP Netherlands.
The SM implements the customer needs (sites, business lines, production) in relation to the risks and compliance with the relevant laws and regulations and NXP requirements.
The SM advises management on trends and opportunities within the field of security and finds it a challenge to promote and improve the safety and risk awareness of all employees.
The SM promotes synergies within and optimizing the tasks and services within the department and GSS.
The SM coaches the security team and matches supply with the suppliers of the security services.
The SM is proactive and has regularly contact with the stakeholders within the organization and the relevant government departments.
The SM creates a good balance between the organizational, structural and electronic security measures and aligning them with compliance requirements.
