Responsibilities:

• Security Program Oversight: Design, implement, and uphold comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard both physical and digital aspects of the data center. This includes managing access control, surveillance systems, environmental sensors, and emergency preparedness plans.
• Leadership & Team Management: Lead and support a team of security professionals. Deliver ongoing training in safety protocols, emergency procedures, and risk prevention. Organize periodic security exercises and drills.
• Technology & Systems Management: Administer and fine-tune physical security infrastructure such as CCTV, biometric access, motion sensors, fire suppression, and intrusion detection systems, ensuring optimal performance and security compliance.
• Risk Analysis & Prevention: Regularly identify and evaluate potential threats to the data center’s infrastructure. Implement mitigation strategies and address vulnerabilities swiftly.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain adherence to industry standards and legal frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001). Assist with internal and external audits relevant to security operations.
• Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate and up-to-date records of security activities, system setups, and incidents. Generate regular updates and reports for leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in fields such as Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Criminal Justice.
• Professional Experience: Minimum 5 years in data center or physical security, with 3+ years in a supervisory or managerial capacity
• Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of data center infrastructure, security systems, and networking. Familiarity with both physical and cybersecurity best practices.
• Certifications: Preferred credentials include CISSP, CPP, or CISM.
• Analytical Thinking: Adept at assessing complex security scenarios and developing practical, effective solutions.
• Detail-Oriented: High level of precision in maintaining and monitoring security protocols and systems.
