Position Summary:
This role entails overseeing loss prevention and security management within the organization, covering the distribution center and transportation functions. The primary focus is on ensuring the safety and security of employees, customers, visitors, and property. The position involves conducting thorough loss prevention assessments to identify and assess potential risks. Developing effective processes and protocols to handle and reduce security and loss risks to an acceptable degree is crucial. Additionally, the role involves supervising security operations, which includes managing access to organizational premises and ensuring the protection of employees, facilities, equipment, and property.
Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM -This position will require availability to work weekends, day/evening shifts and be on-call for emergency protocols.
Travel Required: Will need to travel to TX for training for the first 6-8 weeks and then no travel
Pay Range: $85,000 + 25% bonus potential
Responsibilities:
Work with the Operations/Corporate Security Managers to develop and implement a site-specific security/loss prevention program.
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to include Operations, Human Resources, Corporate support, and vendors to identify areas of security exposure and mitigation.
Conduct internal and external investigations related to theft, fraud, and improprieties.
Act as a company liaison with law enforcement.
Conduct site assessments to determine alignment of security systems and SOPs.
Ensure that the security in the distribution center is appropriate, safe, and secure.
Work directly with security guard/asset tracking companies’ leadership and adjust SOPs as necessary.
Assist with the design, implementation, and vendor management for all physical security applications.
Identify and benchmark best in class practices through industry-peer interaction.
Work directly with external security resources to ensure proper scheduling and coverage of responsibilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate should possess:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be a self-starter able to work independently with no direct supervision.
Excellent organization and time management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years Security Management experience at high security facility.
