LOCATION: Westview Elementary and Fitzgerald High School
QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to build positive & appropriate rapport with students.
Physically able to continuously walk the hallways of the building.
Able to effectively prevent and/or intercede in student altercations in the building.
Trained In De-escalation Techniques, Preferred.
Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
Ability to use good judgment in accordance with policies and procedures.
Possess Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Experience using general technology equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise conduct of students in all areas within the school and support the staff with student behavior management.
Ensure that students are all following District and school policies and guidelines.
Ensures smooth traffic flow of students through the hallways, assists students with on-time arrival to class and to assigned locations as needed including parking lot supervision.
Supervise lunchroom during all appropriate times as directed.
Responds to all email, phone, written and verbal communications as directed.
Performs other duties as may be delegated by the building administration.
SCHEDULE: July 7 - July 31, Monday - Thursday;
Westview Security 5 hours per day; 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
Fitzgerald High School Security 8 hours per day; 7:30-3:30
SALARY: Per current employee rate, $16-$22 per hour
REPORTS TO: Summer School Principal/Administrator/Site Director
Positions will be filled based upon student enrollment and related experience.
