POSITION RESPONSIBILITIESFrederick Goldman Inc is looking for a responsible and reliable Security Guard that can maintain the safety and security of the company’s premises. The Security Guard position report to the Director of Security. This position is not limited to the safety of and security of employees, but public contact as well. This position opens and closes the facility to employees daily, patrols all spaces during open hours to deter theft, and monitor safety. This person must have reliable means of transportation to ensure the building opens on time including during inclement weather. This person must be able to work the scheduled hours between the building opening and closing hours (6:15AM - 7:30 PM). This position performs other duties as required.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform security functions throughout the building as directed. Scan individuals leaving secured areas. Observe video surveillance systems. Enforce security policy and procedures. Document incident reports. Other duties may be assigned.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School diploma. Minimum 2 years loss prevention experience. Experience using hand held metal detector.
