Job Summary
A Security Engineer II focuses on implementing defensive security measures, supports the discovery of vulnerabilities across services, and plays a vital role in the identification and remediation of security issues within an organization. The role requires performing secure
source code reviews, threat modeling, and ensuring systems and applications are built securely. Working closely with development teams and security suppliers, this position is crucial for maintaining the organization's security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct application development with an emphasis on security.
- Hands-on management and operation of vulnerability discovery tools.
- Proactive identification and management of vulnerabilities.
- Partner with internal security teams to ensure continuous security improvement.
- Automate and improve vulnerability discovery capabilities.
Must-Have Skills:
- Hands-on management and operation of vulnerability discovery tools, infrastructure and risk assessments of third-party software.
- Experience in Application development using Java or Python
- Experience in penetration testing and Application security reviews.
Industry Experience:
- Former software development engineer
- Previous penetration tester
