About you:

• Previous experience with supporting the development, delivery and operations of systems / capabilities that enable the delivery of Cyber Defence Capabilities.
• Previous experience working closely with stakeholders across business and capability delivery areas

About the role:

• Determine system and security requirements by evaluating business strategies and leading threat risk assessments; research activities, and system specific security assessments.
• Architect and implement solutions (or data services) in alignment with the Information Security Manual, PSPF and other relevant standards, polices or best practices.
• Review existing system security measures, recommend and implement enhancements.
• Develop, deliver and update documentation in alignment or organisational architecture and IT Security requirements / expectations.
• Lead or support stakeholder engagement activities to provide SME guidance relating to security risks and enable risk based decision making.

Technical Skills:

• Deep understanding of micro services architecture, security configurations, and integrated hybrid architectures.
• Experience gathering technical requirements, provide solution and producing quality technical designs.
• Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimisation, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies, automation, and processes on secure
• Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies for infrastructure alignment with business objectives.
• Strong analytical abilities with a record of delivering innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Architecture in AWS and/or Azure is desirable but not essential.
