WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Utilize and take ownership of various tools for protection, detection, and responding to cyber threats.
- Monitor Cloud and on-premises environments for threats and incidents.
- Configure, manage, and review firewalls to secure network traffic.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, prioritize risks, and collaborate on remediation.
- Implement secure configurations for systems, applications, and cloud resources following best practices (e.g., CIS Benchmarks).
- Guide the development, testing, documentation and implementation of cybersecurity plans, products and control techniques.
- Strong understanding of architecture, firewalls, Intrusion Detection Systems, web filtering, audit and log management, physical security control systems, real-time systems, and common operating systems.
- Oversee and track security-related implementation projects/metrics and provide management with status updates and recommendations for improvement and optimization.
- Protect sensitive data using encryption, DLP tools, and access controls.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, documenting findings and resolutions.
- Advocate compliance with security policies and standards across the company.
- Collaborate closely with security partners in ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of critical systems and processes.
- Maintain up to date job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security threats, practices and standards; participate in relevant educational opportunities; participate in professional organizations; and advise/develop appropriate training for associates within the company.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- 5+ years experience in systems administration and cybersecurity
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred - AWS Certified Security, Azure Security Engineer, Security+, or the like.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and Azure security services and best practices.
- Skilled in configuring and monitoring firewalls to protect network traffic.
- Experience implementing data protection measures, including encryption and DLP tools.
- Proficient in identifying, prioritizing, and remediating vulnerabilities.

The Anticipated Salary Range for this position:
$70,000 to $90,000
Network has established a salary range for this position based on a combination of market data, industry standards and specific requirements of the role. The actual starting salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills and abilities.
In addition, to base salary, Network associates are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health insurance, retirement contributions, opportunities for career growth and professional development.
