Summary

Job Purpose

Lockton is looking for an experienced security operations analyst to play a critical role in protecting the organization’s computer networks and systems. This position will monitor, detect, analyze, and respond to security incidents and perform vulnerability assessments and remediation activities. The candidate will also work closely with other teams to ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.


Key Tasks & Duties and Measurements

  • Work closely with the Global Security Operations team members, Information Technology, business units, and management to implement and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Investigate incidents and respond to events in real-time.
  • Perform risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security issues.
  • Review new and existing systems to ensure baseline security requirements are met and to recommend security enhancements.
  • Perform vendor security reviews and respond to customer security inquiries.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of information security processes and controls.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure cloud security services and tools, such as Microsoft Security Center, Microsoft Sentinel, and Microsoft Defender, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain security documentation, such as policies, procedures, reports, and recommendations.
  • Research and stay updated on cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
  • Must be able to respond to security-related emergencies that may arise outside of regular business hours.
  • Participate in security team On-Call rotation.


Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications are highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Security Operations experience.
  • Strong understanding of server and network architectures, including security best practices.
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
