Responsible for setup and coordination of all shop floor jobs. Assists with compliance to ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and customer specific requirements. Establishes work standards driven by customer requirements and company guidelines. Trains inspectors to Standardized Work Instructions. Evaluates, modifies work instructions. Serves as customer liaison on assigned jobs. May serve as project manager for customers who request/require detailed engineering and consulting expertise. Fulfills quality operating processes in the handling of reject/non-conforming/scrap materials. Coordinates activities with logistics for proper material flow. Performs required audits (e.g. layered process audits) for process validation. Coordinates with data analysis activities related to activity/data reports. Supervises and trains inspectors.

Requirements
Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing quality or production
Print, reading ability, gauge or metrology experience
Strong management skills
Good problem solving ability
Effectively communicate both written and orally
Have a solid understanding of Microsoft Office and Email
Read and understand technical and non-technical documents as they relate to quality functions within the business
Ability to interface with both technical and non-technical personnel.
Ability to travel between locations.
(Preferred) PPAP, FMEA, PSO and SPC knowledge. Automotive, quality, and supervisory experience.
