Job Overview We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC lathe machines, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and calipers to ensure accuracy of finished products. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards. Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Operate forklifts as needed for materials handling within the warehouse environment. Skills Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments including micrometers and calipers. Familiarity with hand tools and their applications in machining processes. Experience with programming CNC machines and understanding logic controllers is preferred. Strong skills in materials handling and assembly line operations. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience operating CNC lathes or similar machinery is highly desirable.
