SEA Communications Manager (Contract)
Duration: 7 Months (16 June 2025 – 15 Jan 2026)
Location: Singapore (Hybrid)
Our client (in the music industry) is looking for a dynamic and strategic Communications Manager to join the Southeast Asia Communications team on a contract basis. This role will be responsible for shaping and executing external communications activities in Thailand and the Philippines. You will be responsible for ad-hoc regional projects across SEA. In this role, you will work closely with the cross-functional team, as well as external partners such as media, influencers and agency-partners to achieve the brand’s 2025 objectives. Reporting directly to the Head of Communications, this role will be fully employed by Vero (PR Agency).
What you'll do
· Lead and implement the brand’s communications strategy in Thailand and the Philippines, developing and executing localized campaigns.
· Manage and support PR agencies in both markets, ensuring alignment with the brand’s business objectives by providing clear briefs, direction, and ongoing strategic guidance.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the regional communications team, and the SEA Music, Marketing, and Partnerships teams, to ensure cohesive messaging and timely campaign execution.
· Oversee and coordinate regional projects, including the brand’s flagship annual campaign, alongside other ongoing campaigns etc.
· Monitor industry trends and provide insights to enhance the brand’s communication strategies and results.
· Some travel to Manila and Bangkok may be required. Be onsite for media interviews, external events, partner meetings, etc.
Who you are
· 8+ years of relevant communications experience in the consumer, digital, media, entertainment, and music industry, or in the tech industry. Experience in an in-house role is preferred
· Results-driven. An appetite for culture, highly creative individual who can think outside the box.
· Thrive in a fast-paced environment and passionate about brand storytelling.
· Proven ability to develop and execute strategic PR campaigns
· Well-versed in narrative, storytelling, communications channels and writing for a variety of audiences.
· A self-starter and can work in a hectic and fast-moving industry and environment without sacrificing attention to detail.
A collaborative individual with strong project management and agency management skills.
