Summary

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Scrum Master for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.



This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.


Responsibilitie

  • Facilitating Scrum Events – Ensuring daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives happen effectively.
  • Removing Impediments – Identifying and resolving obstacles that slow down the team's progress.
  • Coaching the Team – Helping the team understand and apply Agile principles and Scrum practices.
  • Shielding the Team – Protecting the team from external distractions and unnecessary pressure.
  • Encouraging Collaboration – Promoting a culture of teamwork, communication, and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting the Product Owner – Assisting with backlog refinement, ensuring clarity of requirements, and fostering stakeholder engagement.
  • Tracking Progress – Helping the team monitor sprint progress through burndown charts, velocity tracking, and other Agile metrics.
  • Ensuring Continuous Improvement – Driving retrospective actions and fostering a mindset of learning and adaptation.
  • Promoting Agile Values – Advocating for Agile principles and ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies.
  • Facilitating Self-Organization – Empowering the team to take ownership of their work and make decisions independently.



Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Outstanding English communication, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience working in Agile environments, with at least 10 years as a Scrum Master.
  • Proven experience leading multiple teams in complex projects, ideally in large-scale environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, with expertise in scaling Agile practices (SAFe, LeSS, etc.).
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills to help teams deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong conflict-resolution and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work with senior leadership and influence organizational change in a collaborative manner.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a keen ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), etc.) are highly desirable.
