Who You Are and What You'll Do: You are passionate about life sciences and making a difference to cancer patients, their families, and healthcare providers. At CytomX Therapeutics, you will contribute to multiple projects by supporting the characterization and advancement of PROBODY therapeutics using mass spectrometry. Job Responsibilities: * Independently perform diverse mass spectrometry workflows, including intact protein analysis and small molecule quantitation * Independently analyze mass spectrometry data and perform assay troubleshooting as needed * Support the development of novel assays that leverage mass spectrometry * Maintain mass spectrometry lab and instrumentation, including interacting with vendors, managing the servicing of instruments, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders Minimum Qualifications: * B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. with at least 7 years of hands-on experience with mass spectrometry * Demonstrated experience in the characterization of protein therapeutic molecules by mass spectrometry * Experience working in a lab role in a fast-paced and cross-functional R&D environment Preferred Qualifications: * Hands-on experience with Thermo Orbitrap LC-MS/MS systems * Hands-on experience with ZipChip CE-MS * Experience with SCIEX Triple Quad LC-MS/MS systems is a plus * Experience with mass spectrometry software packages (e.g., Xcalibur, Byos, Analyst) * Experience developing quantitative LC-MS/MS workflows * Experience with antibody drug conjugates and novel linker payloads is a plus How You Will Work: * Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork. Compensation, Benefits, and So Much More * The expected salary range for this role is based on the primary location for this position in California with a starting rate of $60.00/hour.
