Scientific Project Manager
Purpose of the Role
The Scientific Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of multiple development projects within our organization. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills and a deep understanding of project management principles and practices in the pharmaceutical industry. The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing and quality assurance to create alignment and successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage organizational projects by defining objectives, deliverables, and detailed project plans, including tasks, timelines, resources, and dependencies, in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional teams to ensure timely project execution, adhering to quality standards, budget, and financial objectives while monitoring expenses.
- Identify and assess project risks, develop mitigation strategies, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement through best practices, tools, and methodologies.
- Communicate project progress effectively to the organization and management team while maintaining comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, change requests, and lessons learned.
- Support Business Development to bring in new projects
- Build successful relationship with clients
Qualifications & Skills
- BSc and 3+ years of project management experience within the pharmaceutical development setting
- Strong understanding of project management methodology, tools and practices
- Experience in stakeholder management with external clients
- Organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools
