Purpose: The School Health Supervisor supports, coordinates, supervises and evaluates district nurses, classroom nurses, and health assistants. The incumbent provides guidance and advocacy for school health services focusing on the health, safety, and wellness of students and their families, staff, and school communities. The School Health Supervisor facilitates district coordination of county, state, and federal student health guidance and requirements. Grounded in ethical and evidence-based practice, the School Health Supervisor leads by bridging health care and education, providing care coordination, advocating for quality centered, equitable care, and collaborating to design systems that support students and school communities to develop their full potentials.
