In this role, you will lead a team of licensed therapists who deliver mental health services directly in school settings.

Responsibilities:
* Follow MBI policies and procedures to ensure quality care across all school-based services.
* Supervise School-Based Therapists, including the review and approval of encounter notes, treatment plans, and related clinical documentation
* Support the Program Manager in:
* Training, supporting, and supervising therapists assigned to school sites
* Guiding the use of technology in the delivery of Tier 1, 2, and 3 services
* Facilitating monthly group supervision
* Serving as an active member of the mental health team at assigned schools, including meeting with the principal or designated school staff at least once per month
* Assist school-based clinical teams in coordinating care for children and families
* Serve as an effective communication link between children, families, school personnel, and clinical team members
* Conduct clinical assessments through interviews, tests, and evaluations of day-to-day functioning in work, family, and other environments; identify areas in need of support, resources, and treatment
* Provide therapeutic services to clients through individual, group, and family sessions that reflect current research, professional standards, and MBI's values
* Prepare diagnostic and biopsychosocial assessments, clinical notes, referrals, and update treatment plans as needed
* Collaborate with MBI leadership to support the development, coordination, and evaluation of clinical training for staff to ensure consistency with MBI's Standards of Practice
* Attend staff meetings and other program-related activities to ensure smooth and consistent clinical operations.
* Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
* Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field
* LICSW or LPC license in Washington, DC required
* 2-3 years of direct clinical experience working with children, adolescents, and families in school or community-based settings
* 1+ year of experience providing clinical supervision to licensed or pre-licensed mental health professionals
* Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapy models and school-based mental health frameworks (e.g., multi-tiered systems of support, trauma-informed care)
* Proficient in reviewing clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments
* Skilled in coaching and supporting clinicians to meet performance outcomes and deliver quality care
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through
* Familiarity with electronic health record systems (e.g., Credible) and Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to work collaboratively with schools, families, and multidisciplinary teams
