The Role
You will manage and lead a team of Presentation Schedulers as well as the responsibility for the preparation of accurate and compliant micro (presentation) schedules ready for transmission for AMC Zone feeds as directed. You will oversee presentation of AMC Zone channels broadcast across the UK.

This role is based in the UK and working from our offices in Soho (2 days per week) and remotely from home for 3 days. Key Roles And Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of Presentation Schedulers across the UK region.
Check monthly macro-schedules, including titles, episodes and templates and break patterns to meet strict deadlines
Export break patterns to the commercial sales house 2 months in advance
Create micro-schedules with on air presentation elements i.e. promotions/ idents/Sponsorship /auto menus /end credit pull backs / continuity etc
Provide a 24-hour service for any problems which occur in transmission that might jeopardise the channel transmission
Check and enter monthly promotional material ready for transmission
Mentor team of Presentation Schedulers through measurable objective setting projects
Key Competencies Required
Experience in a leadership position with ability to lead and motivate a small team
A self-motivated and reliable individual who can demonstrate the ability to meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy at all times
Methodical and organised with an eye for detail essential
Calm under pressure - and a team player with initiative
With a proven interest in television, ability to critically evaluate the on-air presentation of other channels
Experience in presentation scheduling preferred, as is working knowledge of the broadcast industry
Knowledge of Provys scheduling systems an advantage
An eye for creativity is desirable as work directly influences the output of AMC Zone channels
Some experience of ‘live transmission’ preferred but not essential
Confident in building and maintaining key relationships both internally and externally
To have a broad understanding of Ofcom rules and regulations
