In addition to renewable energy, our energy and process monitoring solutions cater to manufacturing industries such as steel and chemical sectors, as well as utilities and water/effluent treatment facilities, helping them improve operational visibility and efficiency.

Role Description

This is a full-time SCADA Configuration and Data integration role at EqualX Technologies Private Limited, based in Ahmedabad with some work-from-home flexibility. The candidate will be responsible for configuring our proprietary SCADA systems, analyzing data, and ensuring accurate commissioning of monitoring solutions for renewable energy and industrial applications.

Key responsibilities include:

• SCADA Configuration & Commissioning: Create and configure asset-related master sheets for new projects in the SCADA configuration tool.
• Technical Documentation: Read and interpret General Technical Parameters (GTPs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and Array Layouts to extract relevant asset data.
• Data Validation & Quality Assurance: Work closely with the site team to resolve data discrepancies from installed gateways and loggers before final commissioning.
• Remote Support: Assist the site team during installation and troubleshoot data inconsistencies.
• Client Handover & Post-Commissioning Support: Validate all data before project handover and provide ongoing support post-commissioning.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering concepts (This is a must)
• Proficiency in SCADA system configuration and data analysis
• Familiarity with various communication protocols used in SCADA systems such as Modbus, OPC, IEC 60870-5-104, and IEC 61850
• Ability to read and interpret GTPs, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and array layouts
• Experience with documentation in Excel, including asset master sheet preparation
• Problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting data issues
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with field teams and clients
• Bachelor’s or Diploma degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience in SCADA systems, industrial automation, or renewable energy monitoring will be a plus
