Summary

PwC has recently launched the South African Technology & Innovation Centre (SATIC), designed to innovate, build, and deploy solutions for our global clients across a range of technology and transformational needs.


The Business Solutions Support Manager will play a critical role in entrenching key operational activities and enabling strategic project delivery across the Business Solutions unit. This individual will work closely with the Business Unit Lead to ensure seamless execution of transformation initiatives, governance compliance, and efficient day-to-day operations. The incumbent will leverage prior experience in Global Business Services (GBS) and shared services environments to drive consistency, performance, and value creation across the unit’s service portfolio.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous
  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a global business services or back-office support environment.
  • Proven experience supporting project implementation in a matrixed or multinational organisation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities across operational and strategic domains.

Responsibilities:

Operational Enablement

  • Embed standard operating procedures and support operational performance metrics across business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks in service delivery, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of operational challenges.
  • Maintain oversight of administrative and process management support for the business unit lead.

Project Support and Execution

  • Provide coordination support for strategic projects, ensuring milestones, risks, and dependencies are actively managed.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including charters, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
  • Support change and communication plans aligned with project rollouts.

Business Performance Monitoring

  • Assist in tracking KPIs, SLAs, and operational targets, and support performance improvement actions.
  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reviews and reporting packs.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate cross-functional interactions with key stakeholders across technology, finance, HR, and operations.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams and the business unit to ensure alignment and transparency.

Governance and Compliance

  • Support adherence to governance protocols and quality assurance practices within the business unit.
  • Contribute to internal audits, risk assessments, and mitigation plans.
