Overview

SAP ABAP Sr. Developer / Technical Consultant Senior:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP ABAP Developer with extensive experience in developing and managing interfaces to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in SAP ABAP development, with a strong focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining interfaces between SAP systems and other applications.

Key Responsibilities

• ABAP Development: Design, develop, and enhance SAP applications using ABAP programming language to meet business requirements.
• Interface Design and Implementation: Develop and manage interfaces using various technologies such as IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services to ensure seamless data integration between SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Technical Specifications: Collaborate with functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
• System Integration: Ensure successful integration of SAP systems with third-party applications, maintaining data integrity and consistency across platforms.
• Code Optimization: Review and optimize existing ABAP code to improve performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshooting and Support: Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to ABAP programs and interfaces, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed solutions, including technical designs, test plans, and user guides.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and best practices, recommending improvements and innovations to enhance system functionality.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  
  

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on interface development.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing interfaces using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and Web Services.
• Proven experience with SAP modules and their integration points.
• Deep understanding of SAP system architecture and data models.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• SAP certification in ABAP or related areas is a plus.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and Fiori/UI5 development.
• Knowledge of middleware technologies such as SAP PI/PO or SAP CPI.
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
• BTP (CAP) experience will be added advantage.
