Summary

SAP Solution Design ( Pre-Sales) – SAP S/4 HANA and ECC - Managed Support Services Deal Architect


SAP S/4 HANA Deal Architect is responsible for understanding what our clients need, develop an initial view of the managed support solution (AMS), tailor the proposition to meet client needs and design the E2E proposal, articulate this end to end solution to the client/sales teams, perform the detailed ticket analysis, optimize the Full time equivalent head count, propose Gen AI solution leveraging SAP AI and Open AI etc, help to close the deal and handshakes with delivery to ensure that the delivery team actually provides the intended solution. Overall, be responsible for tracking the Order booking and deal conversions.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead Author for Solution Design presentation, covering overall value proposition, solution architecture & design for systems/applications, New ways of working, Agile, Dev Ops, Gen AI, SAP BTP, program management, commercial models for large SAP Managed support deals
  • Interact with prospective customers through executive and advisory meetings, discovery conversations, solution demonstrations, and ongoing executive presentations
  • Anchor Client Visits
  • Collaborate with Sales teams for business development strategies
  • Collaborate with Delivery, Solution and Innovation Teams for Case Study and Capability preparations through contextualization of customer stories, solutions, accelerators.
  • Effectively leverage cross-practice collaborations for integrated deal pitches covering Infrastructure, Rise with SAP S/4 HANA, Gen AI, iRPA, CPA, SAP BTP
  • Effectively leverage SAP Alliance teams for external market acceptance and positioning
  • Lead the growth of the Solution Design practice and contribute to competency, hiring, team building, process standardization, thought leadership, content development, reusability of collaterals
  • Track win ratios and business targets and associated measurements for the Solution Design practice


Role Demands


  • Demonstrate expert level knowledge of SAP solutions in minimum one key area (representative examples: Source to Pay, Design to Operate) and any one industry ( representative examples: CPG, Manufacturing, Life Sciences and Pharma, Utilities )
  • Excellent communication, inter-personal, collaboration, networking skills
  • Self-motivated, dynamic and result oriented
  • Proven track record of winning new business and clients
  • Experience in C-Suite conversations (CIO, VP-IT/ SAP, CFO) on SAP managed support services roadmaps including hyper automations
  • Expert level knowledge on Greenfield, Brownfield, Bluefield SAP S/4HANA Transformations and associated SAP managed support (AMS) experience
  • Expert level knowledge on RISE with SAP S/4 HANA (Private and Public) and associated variations including SAP SaaS Products
  • Excellent knowledge on the overall SAP Product Portfolio with specific focus on SAP BTP
  • Excellent knowledge on Program and Test Management methodologies with a specific focus on Agile and DevOps ways of working
  • Good knowledge on SaaS, PaaS, IaaS value propositions, understanding of SAP Analytics and Data offerings
  • Working knowledge on GEN AI, Artificial Intelligence in terms of embedding the same within value propositions


Experience required


  • Minimum 12+ years of SAP solution design experience across Pre-Sales, Consulting, Design thinking, Program Management roles with sufficient Global exposure
  • Min 3 years of experience in leading large S/4HANA Managed support opportunities / programs
  • Working knowledge about GEN AI/ ML, and embedding the same in value proposition, iRPA
  • Cross industry and global experience
