Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced SAP Security Architect with a strong background in enterprise-level SAP security and specialized experience in SAP SuccessFactors. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and manage robust security frameworks across both on-premise (e.g., S/4HANA, ECC, BW) and cloud-based (SuccessFactors) SAP environments. This role demands a mix of strategic vision, technical expertise, and hands-on configuration experience in securing end-to-end SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the overall SAP Security Architecture across the enterprise, covering SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Fiori, SAP BTP, and integrations.
- Define and enforce security design standards, access control strategies, and governance policies aligned with organizational risk posture.
- Architect and manage Role-Based Permission (RBP) structures in SAP SuccessFactors for modules like Employee Central, Recruiting, Learning, and Compensation.
- Develop and manage user provisioning and identity lifecycle strategies across SAP systems using tools like SAP IDM, GRC, and third-party IAM platforms.
- Collaborate with HRIS, Compliance, and Audit teams to ensure data privacy, regulatory compliance (GDPR, SOX, etc.), and adherence to security best practices.
- Perform security assessments and audits, manage SoD (Segregation of Duties) analysis, and remediate violations.
- Drive the design and implementation of secure integrations between SuccessFactors and other SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Monitor emerging security threats and vulnerabilities and proactively apply mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to security consultants and other implementation team members.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP Security experience, including roles in architecture, design, and implementation.
- Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors security, especially RBP configuration and cloud integration security.
- Expertise in SAP Identity Management (IDM), SAP GRC Access Control, and SSO/SAML integration.
- Strong understanding of security concepts across SAP S/4HANA, Fiori, BTP, and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Experience managing security for global rollouts and multi-country SAP SuccessFactors implementations.
- Deep understanding of compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001) and their application in enterprise SAP landscapes.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

- CISSP, CISM, or equivalent cybersecurity certifications (nice to have
