At Taxmarc, we design solutions in SAP to help our clients automate their indirect tax determination and compliance processes. Our core solution is the Taxmarc indirect tax engine that helps our international clients handle the tax determination in complex business scenarios and to remain compliant in the different jurisdictions where they operate.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, we are expanding our team in Malaysia to support regional clients and to deliver new innovations of our core product. We are looking for talented technical SAP consultants to join this rapidly growing team in Malaysia.

Role Description

As SAP (Senior) Technical developer you will be involved in the development of our core tax engine and indirect tax solutions in SAP, specifically for our next-generation product offering using SAP Fiori. You will be responsible for implementing new functionalities, to fulfil new requirements and indirect tax regulations, testing and releasing upgrades as well as providing technical support to the clients running our solutions.

Key Job Responsibilities & Duties

• Analyse business requirements and functional specifications and translate them into technical specifications.
• Assist in maintaining our software lifecycle using the SAP Add-On Assembly Kit
• Hands on product development, integration testing and release.
• Resolving product issues and providing technical support to our clients.
• Developing scalable interfaces with other external and customer solutions.
• Create and keep up to date technical documentation and user guides.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience as ABAP developer (SAP Technical Consultant)
• At least 15 years of experience as ABAP developer (Senior SAP Technical Consultant)
• Understanding of the SAPUI5 framework, SAP Fiori Elements, CDS views and OData services, including SAP Fiori app extensions is advantageous.
• Understanding of Clean Core / ABAP Cloud is advantageous.
• Understanding of SAP BTP architecture / services, and experience of building applications in SAP BTP Platform is advantageous.
• Experience working with the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English.
