Note: The primary pay rate is based on the rate for an incorporated contractor who owns their own business. However, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in a T4 arrangement, where applicable.
Description
The SAP Security Consultant in this role will be instrumental in managing and securing the organizations extensive SAP landscape, ensuring robust and compliant security environments across diverse platforms. Leveraging their expertise in various SAP Security modules to design, develop, and maintain secure solutions. The Ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in managing and securing SAP environments across diverse platforms, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), BI/BW, EWM, HR Security, Success Factors, HANA DB and Solution Manager etc. Proficient in multiple SAP Security modules, including User Administration, Role Management & Development, Troubleshooting, Implementing, Testing, and Security Audits, ensuring robust and compliant security environments.
Responsibilities
- Present feasible technical options and develop sustainable custom security solutions by following industry best practices while adhering to standards and guidelines.
- Perform sustainment and operational routine activities and break fixes by troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms, documenting issue resolution, configuration changes and design enhancements, and creating user assistance tools to ensure adequate performance for all SAP security systems across the organization.
- Review functional specification documents and present the proposed technical design to the development leads for review using excellent analytical skills and communication skills to ensure that the design meets ’s business requirements.
- Design, develop, and document security solutions and enhancements by planning, monitoring, and tuning data conversions, data extracts, interfaces, and modifications based on approved architectural direction and technical design approved by security lead.
- Monitor the progress of development activities and resources; troubleshoot and resolve development items by collaborating with functional and technical team members, internal development and business teams, delivery vendors, and representatives from other projects to ensure that the work is packaged and structured according to standards.
- Perform user provisioning for non-production and production systems such as EE, BW/BI/BOBJ, E-recruiting, Master Data Governance, Enterprise Portal, GRC, Solution Manager, and PI by providing security access, administering support activities in SAP, and managing user access to support business operations in achieving ’s organizational objectives.
- Provide ongoing technical guidance, advice, and assistance on SAP security by collaborating with the SAP team in cross training and mentorship and communicating with business users, support teams, customers, partner resources, and multiple project and sustainment teams to continuously build SAP security capability
Required
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience developing security solutions in at least 8 of the following SAP components: (1) ECC (2) BI/BW/BOBJ (3) E-Recruiting (4) Enterprise Portal / FIORI (5) Solution Manager (6) PI (7) CRM (8) Gateway (9) Master Data Governance (MDG) (10) GRC 10.0+
- A minimum of three (3) years of working experience in the following areas: (1) Position-based security HCM OM/PA authorizations (2) Structural authorization (3) Organizational Levels
- Technical Skills
- Extensive expertise in managing and securing SAP environments across diverse platforms, including SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Fiori, GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance), BI/BW, EWM, HR Security, Success Factors, HANA DB, and Solution Manager.
- Proficient in multiple SAP Security modules, including User Administration, Role Management & Development, Troubleshooting, Implementing, Testing, and Security Audits.
- Excellent skills in the following areas: (1) SAP security authorization concepts (2) Workflows, universal work lists (3) Adobe Interactive Forms, and Web Dynpro security (4) Mobile platforms (5) Creating and maintaining process diagrams and documents, procedure documents (6) GRC 10.0+ (IAG & GRC 12.0 preferred) (7) Single Sign-On (SSO) including external access (8) ASAP methodology
- Intermediate working knowledge of the following is an asset: (1) ABAP development, (2) Active Directory (3)SAP HANA solutions
- Education and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology,
- SAP certification.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Additional Information
Every contractor must supply their own Windows 10 or 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”. This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network.
