About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with strong expertise in the automotive sector to support a major S/4HANA transformation project for a leading automotive client in China.

Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) activities across the project lifecycle (blueprinting, configuration, testing, go-live, and support).
• Gather business requirements, design solutions, and deliver system configurations in line with automotive industry best practices.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP technical teams, and other functional consultants.
• Support data migration, integration with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, PP, FI/CO), and third-party automotive systems.
• Ensure processes like order-to-cash, outbound logistics, and pricing are aligned to S/4HANA best practices for automotive businesses.
• Provide training and user support pre- and post-go-live.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of SAP SD experience, including full-cycle implementation projects.
• Strong functional knowledge of automotive sales and distribution processes.
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA (at least one end-to-end S/4 project preferred).
• Fluent in English & Mandarin.
• Automotive industry project experience is beneficial.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Contract Details:

• Start: ASAP or within short notice
• Duration: 12 months initial with likely extensions
• Location: Shanghai, China (onsite presence may be required during key phases; flexible otherwise)
