We are seeking a skilled and proactive SAP Security Consultant with a strong focus on S/4HANA Security and experience in a variety of complementary SAP technologies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Security best practices and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

This role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra. Suitable candidates must hold Australian Working Rights and NV1 Government Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain SAP Security solutions, with a primary focus on S/4 Security.
• Develop and manage roles and authorisations to align with business requirements and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security compliance and user provisioning across all SAP platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP security issues and provide ongoing support for security operations.
• Assist in audits and reviews to identify security risks and ensure compliance with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and optimise security configurations to improve system performance and integrity.
• Ensure effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to convey complex security concepts and solutions.
• Proactively identify potential security risks and recommend mitigations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Security, with hands-on experience in S/4HANA Security.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Security frameworks and best practices, including role design and authorisation management.
• Demonstrated experience in managing SAP security tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Proven analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise workloads, and adapt to changing project requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP IDM (Identity Management)
• Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Control for managing and monitoring access risk.
• Experience with compliance auditing and SAP Security reporting.
• Exposure to SAP BTP, SCI for SAP cloud identity services
• Hands-on experience with IPS/IAS and IAG for identity authentication and governance.
• Understanding of SAP AI capabilities and their integration into security workflows.
• Showcased interest in next gen and emerging technologies.
