Our team focuses on building Enterprise Application systems for manufacturing satellites and Payload facilities. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations and the Supply Chain teams at Kuiper.
As the SAP Quality Management (QM) expert, you will be responsible for designing solutions, enhancing, and supporting the SAP QM module, while also providing support for the SAP Production Planning module. You will work closely to ensure integration with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and SAP Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). The enhancement and support of these systems is critical to scalability and cost-effective manufacturing of satellites and ground gateway terminals. To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail oriented and effective communicator.
Key job responsibilities
* Build SAP QM based solutions and support QM and PP areas.
* Conduct Blueprint workshops, fit-gap analysis and produce detailed design documents
* Prepare functional specifications, configure, test and lead implementation for all SAP RICEFW areas
* Build and support integration with SAP EWM, PM, MM, SAP MES system
* Open to learn and scale up to support solution designs for all modules for SAP Manufacturing process and integrated systems
* Support SAP Production system for ticket resolutions, business support needs.
* Ensure that the deployed applications perform as per customer expectations and there are no performance issues
* Identify training needs, support creating training documentation and lead train the trainer sessions
* Participate in strategic planning, roadmap discussions for SAP Manufacturing solutions
* Participate in quarter planning, sprint planning, deployment for continuous enhancements
* Team player, ready to share and contribute to collective success of the team
A day in the life
Collaborate with functional owners, architects and developers to build dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Support production system for Support tickets , bug fixes and identifying optimization opportunities to enhance overall process and system performance. Your primary role will be to understand and address business requirements by designing solutions, configuring the QM and PP modules, supporting the development of RICEFW objects, conducting tests, and ensuring smooth integration with other modules such as EWM, MES, and MM.
About the team
Kuiper Enterprise Applications team owns and manages mission critical enterprise systems (ERP) for satellite manufacturing. These systems play a critical role for end-to-end supply chain lifecycle for satellite manufacturing and satellite launch operations. This team supports business processes for demand planning, procurement, supplier collaboration, trade compliance, transportation, warehouse management, quality management, production planning, manufacturing, manufacturing execution, and finance and controlling. The team builds solutions that provide critical traceability information, tracks financial data, support business reporting needs, and scales with our growing business.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 4+ years of Development and Support experience with SAP QM Module
* 4+ years of Implementation and Enhancement experience with SAP S/4 HANA
* 4+ years in an information technology role
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver products and online services on tight deadlines
* 2+ years' experience with Production Planning
* Experience working in and integrating with SAP EWM
* Experience working in onshore-offshore model
* Experience supporting manufacturing in Aerospace or automotive industry

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
