Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops.

Role: SAP QM Functional Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect with 12 to 14 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP and SAP QM Integration. Experience in Research and Development or Medical Devices is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP solutions to meet business requirements.
• Oversee the integration of SAP QM modules with other SAP modules.
• Provide expert guidance on SAP best practices and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAP solutions to ensure quality and performance.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP configurations and processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to SAP QM integration.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Mentor and train junior team members on SAP functionalities and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary optimizations.
• Support the development of project plans and timelines for SAP-related initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Possess a strong background in SAP and SAP QM Integration with at least 12 years of experience.
• Demonstrate expertise in designing and implementing SAP solutions.
• Have experience in Research and Development or Medical Devices is a plus.
• Exhibit excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Show proficiency in documenting SAP configurations and processes.
• Display strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP best practices and industry trends.
• Be able to mentor and guide junior team members effectively.
• Have a proactive approach to identifying and addressing system improvements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Be capable of working in a hybrid work model with day shifts.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between 112,500 - 132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
