Job Title: SAP Project Manager

Language & Location Requirements:

• Base language: English

• Knowledge of German or Hungarian is a big plus (especially for shop floor discussions)

• Must be able to travel to:

• Hungary (Kunsziget – main site)

• Germany (monthly visit, shop floor discussions in Herdorf)

Key Skills & Profile Requirements

Management & Project Leadership:

• Proven SAP Project Management experience, ideally across full lifecycle implementations

• Experience managing greenfield SAP projects (not just rollouts or upgrades)

• Ability to sit between the business, IT, and implementation partner – acting as the central bridge

• Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities

• Able to lead coordination across multiple locations, especially between Hungary and Germany

• Skilled at driving deliverables from an implementation partner – knows what to expect from them

SAP & ERP Expertise:

• Solid knowledge of SAP ECC – understanding of multiple plant integration is crucial

• Experience in re-implementing plants into ECC from scratch (greenfield approach)

• Strong grasp of ERP/IT concepts and ability to communicate between technical and business teams

• Understands service levels and standards expected in a corporate manufacturing environment

Domain Knowledge – Manufacturing:

• Industry experience in manufacturing or automotive preferred

• Must understand manufacturing workflows, how SAP maps onto them, and the typical challenges involved

• Should know steps of an SAP project from blueprinting to go-live

• Able to assess whether the implementation partner is delivering as per scope, quality, and timeline
