Summary

We are looking for a hands-on SAP PM Developer to join our internal team, working on long-term platform development and optimization. This is not a consultant role—we are looking for someone to be part of our core product/engineering team.

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced SAP Developer with expertise in integrating with SAP via external applications using services such as OData, REST API, and other relevant interfaces. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP development, data extraction, and API-based integrations to enable seamless data flow between SAP and external systems. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, configure, and maintain SAP services such as OData, REST APIs, and other integration mechanisms for data extraction and external connectivity. 
  • Design and implement SAP-based solutions to pull and manipulate data efficiently from SAP systems. 
  • Work closely with business analysts and external system teams to understand data requirements and ensure accurate and secure data exchange. 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP API connections, performance optimization, and security compliance. 
  • Ensure API integrations follow SAP best practices, including authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, SAML, or basic authentication. 
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for SAP integrations, data structures, and API endpoints. 
  • Stay up to date with SAP technologies, including SAP Gateway, SAP NetWeaver, SAP Fiori, and SAP Cloud Platform. 

 

Required Skills & Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP development with expertise in OData, REST APIs, and other integration mechanisms
  • 3+ years of experience in SAP PM
  • Strong knowledge of SAP PM, SAP EAM SAP ABAP, SAP NetWeaver Gateway, and SAP S/4HANA integration. 
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Fiori, SAP Cloud Platform, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is a plus. 
  • Proficiency in implementing API authentication mechanisms such as OAuth, JWT, and SAML
  • Understanding of data modeling and SAP CDS Views for exposing services. 
  • Experience working with non-SAP applications that consume SAP data via APIs. 
  • Ability to optimize API performance and ensure secure data transactions. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Please note: This is a full-time, in-house development role. Experience solely in consulting or implementation projects will not be a fit.
