Our client is seeking an experienced SAP Manager with hands-on expertise in SAP WM/LE/MM/SD modules. This leadership role will manage a team of SAP professionals and oversee the lifecycle of IT application-based projects across SAP and related systems.


Key Responsibilities


SAP Team Leadership

  • Lead, develop, and support a functional SAP team to ensure high levels of customer service and performance.
  • Build credibility with IT teams, internal stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Manage team performance, including direct and matrixed reports.
  • Develop and support team members through coaching and feedback.
  • Oversee vendor relationships with third-party providers, including AMS and integration partners.
  • Ensure best practices in system documentation and change management.
  • Maintain timely and effective user support via helpdesk systems.
  • Foster clear, transparent communication within the team and with IT leadership.


Project Management a

  • Contribute to strategic business initiatives by delivering new SAP functionality.
  • Implement projects such as new business integrations, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Collaborate with Business Process Owners to align system design with business needs.
  • Explore and implement new SAP modules and features.
  • Utilize methodologies like SDLC, ASAP, and Agile for project execution.
  • Take ownership of initiatives and maintain accountability in ambiguous environments.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable IT operations.


Administrative Duties

  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and vendor relationships.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, requiring minimal supervision.
  • Balance detail orientation with the ability to see the big picture.
  • Translate business processes into IT solutions that meet customer expectations.


Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong people and project management skills.
  • Minimum 8 years of functional SAP experience with hands-on configuration.
  • Expertise in SAP WM/LE/MM and strong understanding of SAP logistics execution processes.
  • Familiarity with RF-gun operations and warehouse equipment.
  • Solid understanding of integration points between SAP modules (WM, SD, MM, FI).
  • Preferred: Experience with AFS, EDI, and Vertex Indirect Tax software.
  • Strong background in business process design and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable working in a global organization with alignment to enterprise IT strategies.
