Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced SAP IS-Utilities (ISU) Technical Consultants to support a major S/4HANA transformation for a leading consulting firm and their end customer in the Utilities sector. This is a high-impact, long-term remote opportunity with potential to expand into a large-scale program.

Ideal candidates will have strong technical skills in SAP ABAP, BASIS, and SAC, combined with a functional understanding of ISU modules. Prior experience working with US-based utility clients and availability to work night shifts (US CST/EST) is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and support custom ABAP programs and enhancements within the SAP ISU environment

Perform BASIS administration tasks: system monitoring, upgrades, performance tuning, transport management

Build dashboards, visualizations, and analytics using SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) tailored for Utilities

Collaborate with functional consultants to implement and troubleshoot S/4HANA ISU functionalities

Support data migration and integration activities related to the Utilities domain

Work in Agile project teams, providing technical solutions aligned with business needs

Participate in system cutovers, go-lives, and hypercare support phases

Required Skills and Experience:

5+ years of experience in SAP IS-Utilities projects

Strong hands-on experience in ABAP development within ISU (e.g., billing, device management, customer service)

Proficiency in SAP BASIS on S/4HANA platforms (system administration, tuning, troubleshooting)

Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) – ideally in a Utilities context

Prior work on S/4HANA implementations or upgrades

Familiarity with US utilities processes, data structures, and compliance requirements

Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills

Willingness to work night shifts aligned to US time zones (CST/EST)

Nice to Have:

Techno-functional background in ISU (FICA, DM, Billing, Customer Service)

Experience with integrations (SAP PO/PI, CPI)

Utilities domain certifications or training
