About HST Global

The Helpful Smiles Technology Global Center (HST Global) in Bangalore is a division of the Hy-Vee IT team named as the Helpful Smiles Technology Centre based in the US. It supports Hy-Vee’s business growth and modernization needs by accelerating the adoption of technology across enterprise operations. About the role

As an SAP Integration Engineer II, you will be a member of one of the Hy-Vee development teams responsible for Financial/Supply Chain Technologies following an agile delivery cadence. Your primary focus is to help us make data and system integration within the Hy-Vee ecosystem secure, highly scalable, and predictable.

Key Responsibilities

• Work as a member of a cross functional, agile team to ensure that quality is a focus during every delivery cycle
• Responsible for systems analysis, integration design and development, testing, implementation and maintaining integrations in SAP
• Collaborates with other technical staff and business partners to research, evaluate, develop, test and implement new solutions
• Work in partnership with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure the seamless transfer of data within our systems
• Estimates and plans development work; tracks and reports on task progress; delivers work on schedule.
• Developing and testing new inbound and outbound integrations in SAP Integration Suite
• Supporting and improving SAP integrations to ensure they are built for scale
• Leverages integration error logs to ensure that processes are working properly
• Gathering and analyzing integration issues to outline trends and creating action plans to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Testing of new system features and releases and evaluating the impact on integrations
• Independently analyze and solve complex problems
• Suggest improvements and proactively address issues
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities to existing business practices, processes, workflows, and tools
• Provide off-hours on call support as needed for assigned area of responsibility

Qualifications

• 3 - 6 years’ experience building and supporting SAP integrations
• Strong functional background in SAP Financial/Supply Chain systems
• Experience with Integration Suite or SAP Process Integration (PI), Open Connectors, REST APIs and Groovy Scripting
• Knowledge of GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Pub Sub and Google Cloud Storage concepts
• Demonstrated competence of engineering concepts, theories and principles, combining them with business understanding to design, document and implement clean and robust solutions to complex business problems
• Analytical approach to solving system issues including understanding system interdependencies
• Proven ability to successfully juggle multiple projects and priorities and able to shift direction quickly when priorities change
• Strong sense of urgency and excellent follow-through
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or a combination of education and relative experience
