We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated SAP HANA Database Administrator to join our team, with the opportunity for upskilling through structured SAP training (SAP HA100 and SAP HA200 courses). This role offers hands-on exposure to SAP HANA environments while supporting database operations and enhancements. Candidates with prior experience in the following skills are highly encouraged to apply:

• SAP HANA DBA
• SAP S/4HANA
• SAP BASIS

Training will be provided to help the selected candidate transition into a HANA-focused DBA role.

This role needs Singapore Security Clearance (2A) and is open to Singaporeans.

💼 Role: SAP HANA Database Administrator

What You'll Do

• Provide day-to-day administrative support for SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and other related database environments.
• Participate in HANA system installations, patching, upgrades, and system refreshes using tools such as SUM and SWPM.
• Assist in managing backup and recovery operations, database copies, and system maintenance activities.
• Support performance tuning and troubleshooting across SAP HANA and traditional RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, IBM DB2).
• Help maintain multitenant database containers (MDC) and replication setups, with guidance and training.
• Participate in SLT replication monitoring and setup as part of the HANA data replication framework.
• Work with BASIS teams to support data migration activities within SAP S/4HANA.
• Follow change control procedures and maintain proper documentation for system updates and configurations.
• Collaborate with senior DBAs and SAP specialists during system upgrades, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a Computer Science or related discipline.
• 4+ years of experience in any of the following: SAP HANA DBA, SAP BASIS, SAP S/4HANA (data migration), or SAP DBA on ECC/S/4HANA using Oracle, SQL Server, or IBM DB2.
• Interest and willingness to upskill in SAP HANA database administration (HA100/HA200 courses provided).
• Familiarity with SAP administration tools (SUM, SWPM, HANA Studio/Cockpit) is a plus.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA architecture including MDC, tenants, replication, memory management, backup/recovery, delta merge, and system performance tuning.
• Exposure to database performance monitoring, backups, and recovery strategies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a collaborative and learning mindset.
• Good documentation practices and communication skills to support team-based implementations.
