Senior IT Program Management
Key Responsibilities:
Manages the SAP GTS migration project including but not limited to the following activities:
• Defines the project charter, develops governance structure, prepares detailed project plan, monitors the program/project from initiation through delivery including planning and directing schedules and monitoring budget/spending.
• Conduct scoping, planning and design workshop engaging business & cross functional teams
• Organizes cross-functional activities, ensuring completion of the project on schedule and within budget constraints. This role is most common in a matrix type organization
· Requires a technical background with SAP GTS implementation or migration experience to complete its overall project management responsibility
· Ability to conduct meeting with executive leadership team during different phases of the project
· Defines direction, adaption to change requirements while conquering obstacles, as well as managing business organization plans and knowing where to shift.
Education and Experience
· 8-10 years of experience in managing SAP implementation/ upgrade projects including 2-3 full life cycle implementations
· Bachelor’s degree with certification Project Management professional
· Experience in adopting PMI or advanced project methodologies in SAP projects, preferable in GTS implementation
· Experience in managing scoping, design, build, test and production cutover phases of projects
· Excellent communication skills to articulate & present periodic project status, highlighting the issues & risks and action plans
· Familiarity with Global Trade, Sales and Logistics business processes would be a plus
· Strong English verbal and written skills
· Strong organizational skills and eagerness to drive deliverables to closure
· Self-starter and proactive, including managing deliverables, able to work independently, understanding timelines and deadlines with minimal guidance
