The SAP Functional Consultant will be responsible for initiating and collaborating between the SAP end users in identifying and gathering business and user problems and requirements across the organization, performing analysis and translating to system design, solution and technical requirements as input to technical team and testers and to ensure that expected output is delivered and implemented by validating against the requirements.
Ii. Duties And Responsibilities
Gather current and future business and end-user SAP requirements and identify areas for improvement and develop and implement SAP solutions
Conduct reviews of business processes and develop functional strategies
Conduct meeting, presentation and liaise with various stakeholders and concerned parties in gathering information, sharing ideas, analysis, documentation and findings
Translate gathered business and functional requirements and perform detailed analysis from simple to complex design, solution and output and solutions to meet business and user requirements
Translate gathered and analyzed business and functional requirements to complete test scope, strategy, plan, responsibilities, schedule, criteria, test cases and scripts.
Assist in the test activities such as but not limited to system, integration and user acceptance testing to verify and validate functional design and solution
Analyze incidents, gaps, issues, roadblocks and risks, and report, set priorities, escalate and provide immediate and/or permanent solution
Work and assist the project teams to ensure the successful implementation to meet its quality goals at the best value and based on the customer expectation
Ensure security requirements and controls are incorporated in the functional solutions are being tested.
Keep up to date to latest SAP processes and modules for the improvement of the SAP system and interfaces
Prepare training materials and provide the assistance in conducting the training to users or other members of the team
Responsible for the information security by protecting confidential information from unauthorized access, ensuring the integrity of the information and information system, taking appropriate measures to manage security risks and following and complying with the laws, legislations and terms of contracts.
Perform other duties as assigned, if necessary.
Iii. Qualifications
Minimum Education
Graduate of Computer Science or equivalent
Minimum Experience/Training
Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in ERP implementation and support
Must have SAP S/4 HANA and SAP ECC technical and functional knowledge, implementation and maintenance and support experience.
Evidence of continuous professional and personal learning and development
Familiarity, knowledge and some experience with the following is an advantage:
SAP business process
SAP Standard and Custom Reports
SAP modules such as but not limited to PS, SD, MM, WM, FICO
Accounting principles and business processes
SAP HANA full cycle implementation and support
Competency
Proven leadership experience in managing SAP systems
