Duration: 6 Months contract (Possibilities of Extension)

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO who is immediately available in Melbourne. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications typically associated with this role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive experience on end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules, with emphasis on
• General Ledger (GL): Chart of accounts, parallel ledgers, recurring entries, etc.
• Banking: Electronic Bank Statement (EBS), bank reconciliations, BCM, and integrations with third-party systems.
• Accounts Payable (AP): Vendor master, invoice processing, payment runs, and tax configurations.
• Asset accounting (AA): Asset lifecycle management, depreciation areas, and integration with GL and MM.
• Travel & Expense Management Systems (TEMS): Configuration and integration with SAP (e.g., Concur or native TEMS), expense policies, and approval workflows.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide hands-on support during integration and user acceptance testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in SAP FICO modules and provide ongoing production support.
• Work with cross-functional teams including MM, SD, and HR for integrated business processes.
• Provide knowledge transfer and training to users and junior consultants.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations and Finance best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP FICO experience with at least 3 full-cycle implementations.
• Strong hands-on configuration experience in GL, Banking, AP, AA, and TEMS.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance and its key innovations (e.g., Universal Journal, Central Finance).
• Proven track record of delivering scalable, supportable, and integrated financial solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
